Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets forth the rules and guidelines for using the Merkanthub platform and services. This AUP is part of our Terms of Service and applies to all users.

Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Services to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
• Transmit malware, viruses, or any code designed to harm, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to systems.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Services beyond the intended API usage.
• Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Use the Services to send unsolicited communications (spam) or engage in deceptive marketing practices.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services or related infrastructure.
• Use data obtained through the Services for purposes other than those authorized, including selling or sharing data with unauthorized third parties.
• Circumvent any security measures, access controls, or usage limits implemented in the Services.

API Usage Limits

Use of the Merkanthub API is subject to rate limits and usage quotas as defined in your subscription plan. You agree to:

• Respect the rate limits and usage quotas associated with your plan.
• Not attempt to circumvent rate limiting or usage restrictions.
• Not share API credentials with unauthorized parties.
• Implement appropriate error handling and retry logic with exponential backoff.

Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in:

• A warning notice with a specified period to correct the violation.
• Temporary suspension of access to the Services.
• Permanent termination of your account.
• Legal action where appropriate.

We reserve the right to take immediate action without prior notice in cases of severe violations that pose a risk to the security or integrity of the Services or other users.

Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to info@merkanthub.com. We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action.
